Life is a shore
Where the clouds
Arrive to die
As summer rain
Then, people grow
And they pass
Like all those clouds
But purposeless
We are tears falling from grey eyes
We are rain, we are rain
We are castaways in some hourglass
We are grains, we are grains
But, that’s not all
There’s a spark
Across the sky
Of emptiness
Just call it ‘love’
Yes, it’s corny, dumb
And hopeless
Anyway
We are meant to care about the ones
We love well, we love well
We must cross the way to everyone
Out our shells, out our shells
We are here to build, create and guard
A common fate, common fate
We must work to make a better life
Every day, every day
